VISIOBLUE Strong is a natural health food supplement beneficial to human eye. It contains high amount of standardised Anthocyanin (50 mg per capsule) extracted from Blueberry (Vaccinum myrtillus).

Daily dosage 1-2 capsules contain:
Blue berry extract.....................240-480 mg (equivalent to 8.2-16.4 g of fresh blueberry)
in which anthocyanin.................50-100 mg
magnesium stearate (E470b)
silicon dioxide (E551)
colour E171 (capsule shell)
gelatin (capsule shell)

it is free of lactose, yeast, sweeteners and gluten

Usage

Blueberry has been used over many years to improve night vision. Any beneficial effects associated with the blueberry may be due to anthocyanosides-flavonoid compounds that give the fruit its colour.

Studies suggest that Blueberry extract accelerates rhodopsin regeneration. Rhodopsin is a chromoprotein used by rods in the eye for night vision.

Blueberry extract has been reported to modify several enzymatic parameters involved in retinal damage and may also improve microcirculation in the eye, promoting overall health and reducing eye strain.

A study in Japan concludes that Blueberry is beneficial for the prevention of weak eyesight but that it does not have much of an effect on cataracts or already weak eyes. According to the article, the best treatment for tired eyes is to relax the eyes or take time to rest.
